Markus Schefer re-elected as a member of the committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities

The Conference of States Parties to the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in New York has elected Markus Schefer to the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities for a second term.
Markus Schefer sincerely thanks all States Parties for the trust they have placed in him.
A re-election, though, would not have been possible without the great support of many persons: Markus Schefer particularly thanks Caroline Hess-Klein (Deputy Executive Director of Inclusion Handicap), Verena Kuonen-Kohler (Co-President of Inclusion Handicap), Anna-Lena Schluchter (Swiss Mission New York) and the excellent staff of the Swiss Missions in New York and Geneva as well as the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs FDFA and the Federal Department of Home Affairs FDHA.
