Organization of Disabilitiy Rights Conferences
Markus Schefer and his team have organized Disability Rights Conferences in Switzerland since 2014. They have partnered with Inclusion Handicap, the Swiss umbrella organization of OPD's, and the Federal Bureau for the Equality of People with Disabilities.
Annual National Conferences
These are the first disability rights conferences on a national level in Switzerland. They attract about 200 participants each year from civil society, government and academia, including a substantial number of persons with disabilities and they have become an important forum for the exchange of ideas, the presentation of current activities, and the education on the requirements of the CRPD.

Online Talks on Disability Rights
During the Covid 19 pandemic, the conference has been substituted by several online events, each covering a specific issue pertaining to the implementation of the CRPD.
